I have a bone to pick with Dansko... Okay, so I admit to being
overjoyed to be wearing a pair of these sandals. This is
because I wear a size 12 shoe. I am wearing a size 43, which
is NOT a women's size 13 (and 42 is NOT a women's size 12).
The European size 43 is really more like a women's 11-11 1/2.
I don't understand why Dansko insists on labeling their shoes
in this way. Regardless, this means that you should consult a
reliable shoe size converter or order a size up. The 43's I'm
wearing a bit tight in the straps, but I'm hoping that they
will stretch out to a perfect fit. Incredible service - My
daughter saw these Danskos in Durango , CO ... but didn't buy
them. We ordered them from Zappos ... I couldn't believe how
quickly they arrived !!!! Same great Dansko fit .... the color
my daughter wanted .... and easier to purchase than a trip

The perfect sandal - I have three pairs of these sandals. They
are the perfect sandal for casual and dressier occasions. Very
comfortable and flattering! I wear a 9 or a 9.5 depending on
the shoe, and the first pair I bought was a 39. I have
arthritis and I now find the 40's more comfortable, but I
still wear the 39's. The 40's are a teeny bit loose on me. If
you have a narrow foot the 39 would probably be fine. Great
shoe - This is one great sandal! I bought a pair last year in
the green and I loved them so much that I bought another pair
in red. I wear them almost every day and my feet never feel
tired. I have 2 small children and I am very active. I have
even had to run in these sandals and never felt unsteady. I
hope Dansko keeps this shoe around for a long time!
